"I had to send back one book because..."
I had to send back one book because I accidentally ordered the wrong level. The return process was straightforward, and I got my refund in about a week. I do wish the return shipping was a bit cheaper, but overall it wasn’t a bad experience.

"Clear lessons without unnecessary extras"
We've been using BJU Press for about two years now, and it's been a really good fit for our family. I like that biblical truth comes through naturally in subjects like history and science instead of feeling forced or tacked on. The lessons are easy to follow, a lot of the extra fluff you see in other programs feels unnecessary compared to this. My kids even bring up God’s design after school, which has been really encouraging to hear

"The lessons are definitely good and…"
The lessons are definitely good and they do challenge my kid, which I like... but every now and then it feels a little too packed. He can keep up most days, but some sessions leave him feeling rushed, you know?

"Sturdy and Easy to Use"
We’ve been using BJU Press Homeschool this year, i’ve been pleased with it. The books are sturdy enough to handle my kids carrying them all over the house, which matters because homeschool stuff gets used a lot. I also appreciate that the lessons are laid out in a way that just makes sense, so I’m not wasting time trying to figure out what we’re supposed to do each day. It keeps school time a little more organized and less chaotic, and that’s a win for me.
"Usually works, but not always"
The site works fine most of the time, to be fair. Every now and then it acts up, and it kind of feels like someone isn’t really keeping an eye on it when that happens.

"I can see this working well for..."
I can see this working well for families with a more predictable routine, and I don’t think it’s a bad option overall. For us, though, the schedule felt a little too rigid for our homeschool days. We need more flexibility to shift things around as needed, so it just wasn’t the best fit for our family.
"Seems up to date"
The lessons seem current, and updates are easy to spot. It really helps me plan out my schedule without having to guess if I’m looking at old info.

"Not the best fit for special needs"
I was hoping this would work better for our situation, but, it didn’t have as many accommodation options as we needed. It’s not terrible, but for someone with special needs, I think there should be more flexibility, and support available.

"Pretty easy call for us"
I had a quick gut reaction after we started BJU Press Homeschool this year: this was going to work for my son. We’ve mostly been using the video classes, and the teachers are clear without flying through everything. I really like that they explain why something works instead of just handing over the answer. Math used to be a major struggle in our house, and he actually understands it better now. Some lessons do feel a bit long, so it’s not absolutely perfect, but overall the teaching is solid, easy to follow, and I’m really happy we went with it.

"Solid materials, but the online side could be smoother"
I’ve liked having both the digital and print options with BJU Press Homeschool. The printed books are well made and really helpful, especially for kids who focus better when they’re not staring at a screen.
The digital features are useful too, but they can feel a bit clunky at times. I found myself wishing it was easier to move between lessons and resources without having to click around so much.
Overall, the lessons are solid and the program does what it’s supposed to do, but for the price, I expected the online experience to be a little more polished. It’s definitely not a bad option, just not perfect.

"Good Pace, Until You Fall Behind"
Most of the lessons are paced well and easy to follow, which I really appreciate. I was feeling like, okay, this is manageable. But miss even one day and suddenly it’s like, wow, who decided to pile all this on me? Overall it’s a solid setup, just don’t fall behind unless you enjoy playing catch-up.

"Pretty simple overall"
The site was easy enough to use, and checkout only took about a minute. Nothing really complicated or frustrating, so I guess...

"Billing was ridiculously easy"
The payment went through without any issues at all. It was ridiculously simple to sort out, no hassle, no back-and-forth, just done
"The videos freeze on me almost every…"
The videos freeze on me almost every single day, which gets really frustrating after a while. It also kind of feels like there isn’t a real person on the other end to help when it happens, so the whole experience feels impersonal.
"I ordered a few homeschool books…"
I ordered a few homeschool books from BJU Press Homeschool and had a really good experience. The tracking was easy to follow, and my order actually showed up sooner than I expected. I was especially happy that every book was included and packed neatly, with no bent corners or scuffed covers. After dealing with missing items and damaged books from other sites, that was a relief. I’d definitely order from them again.

"Helpful, but the reminders are a bit much"
It’s definitely helpful and I can see the value in it, but it still takes me a decent amount of time to get through everything. Also, the reminders feel aggressive sometimes, like I get it, I haven’t done it yet. A little less nagging would make the experience better.

"Good overall, but a little confusing at times"
The curriculum is solid, and my kids are definitely learning from it. Some lessons are really clear and easy to follow, but then others feel kind of heavy and take way longer than expected?? I do wish there was more simple practice in certain spots, because that would make it easier to reinforce things. Overall, it’s not bad at all, just a bit mixed for us.

"Quick and genuinely helpful"
I noticed right away that the reply followed the kind of pattern I appreciate: clear, fast, and actually useful. It didn’t feel like a generic response, and it helped me get what I needed without any back-and-forth. Really solid experience overall...

"Not worth the price"
I didn’t feel like this was worth what I paid. When I brought up my concerns, it kind of felt like they made it my problem instead of actually trying to help. Disappointing overall

"Canceling took way more work than I expected"
I just wanted to cancel my subscription and somehow it turned into this whole annoying thing. I was clicking around for a while and still wasn’t totally sure if it actually went through or not, which is weird because it should be obvious. Maybe I missed something, but for a homeschool site I kind of expected everything to be simpler. It just left me frustrated, and even if the site itself might be fine, I don’t really feel like coming back after that.
